The VIC and MIC Sections of MI-MORT will be conducting an Education and Training Session on Thursday, January 25th. This education and training sessions is for current member of the VIC and MIC Sections or MI-MORT members interested in being crossed trained to work in these sections. Detailed instruction will be provided during this session to accommodate team members at all levels (from beginners to advanced) users of the Victim Identification Program (VIP).
There is no cost to register for approved exercise and training participants. This education and training session is supported 100% by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services with funding from the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Hospital Preparedness Program Cooperative Agreement Award 1NU90TP921906-01. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of ASPR.

Participation Prerequisites:
To participate in this Education and Training Session, you must have completed FEMA ICS online courses: 100b, 200B, 700A and 800B. Team members are asked to RSVP by emailing Patti Lyons at [email protected].

Hotel Accommodations: Hotel accommodations will not be covered by the MI-MORT program for this education and training session.
Meals:
Lunch will be provided. Individual meals purchased by participants will not be an allowable cost that is reimbursable by the MI-MORT program for this education and training session.
Mileage Reimbursement:
Mileage reimbursement will be paid at $0.39 per mile by the program for registered participants. Mileage will be calculated from your home city (on file) to the city of the education and training session location (Okemos).
Registration Deadline:
The registration deadline is Friday, January 19, 2018. You will receive an email confirmation no later than Monday, January 22nd to confirm your attendance.
