A full scale exercise conducted in the Spring of 2015 was a productive way for MI-MORT to simulate a large scale deployment.
During a disaster response, deceased victims are processed through several stations in order to positively identify them.
The Victim Information Collection (VIC) and Morgue Identification Center (MIC) teams work together to identify deceased victims.
The Disaster Assistance Recovery Team focuses on recovering deceased victims from a disaster scene. As a part of this training exercise, the team worked on deploying their field command post.
